Standard Terms of Business

PolicySalesDirect hereinafter abbreviated to PSD arranges the purchase of traded endowment policies as an agent for third parties (including connected persons).
Policies are bought and sold on an execution only basis.
It is warranted all information supplied by or on behalf of the seller is correct and complete and the seller will provide the authority required to verify such information.
It is understood the policy is free from any undisclosed charges, loans, third party interests, or any other claims, and the title is acceptable to PSD.
Acceptance of PSD’s offer (in the offer letter) either orally or in writing will constitute a legally binding obligation to sell the policy to PSD.
During the completion process the policy and documents of title will be held in safe keeping by PSD’s appointed lawyers.
Payment will only be approved following satisfactory replies to all PSD’s enquires and all necessary documentation has been delivered to PSD’s solicitors.
The seller will do whatever is necessary to give full effect to the sale and the continuing validity of the policy.
If the seller becomes aware of anything that may invalidate the policy or diminish its value he/she will immediately notify PSD and will undertake to remedy the defect or indemnify PSD from any resulting loss howsoever arising.
PSD is not responsible directly or indirectly for any tax consequences suffered by the seller.
